Two nights back Shatner hosted The Genies, which is the Canadian version of the Oscars. We were unable to witness the spectacle here in the states, but TrekMovie was there and they have some nice tidbits from the event. After the pathetic turn from James Franco and Anne Hathaway, I think we need to put Shat on the ballot for the 2012 Academy Awards.
